Kia ora, my name is Oliver Welch-Peters and I am a photographer and videographer based in Auckland, New Zealand. I began my creative journey driven by a passion for sport and visual storytelling, using photography and video as a way to capture moments beyond the game itself. What started as a creative outlet quickly evolved into a serious pursuit and an ongoing passion.
Over time, I’ve developed strong skills across both photography and videography, specialising in fast-paced sports environments while also capturing authentic, emotional moments. I’ve worked with teams and organisations including Auckland Tuatara Basketball, the New Zealand Kiwis, New Zealand Warriors home games, Auckland NPC rugby matches, Hakula Rugby League, the OFC Pro League, and NZ Hoop Nation — including documenting their tour to Melbourne.
I’m adaptable, detail-focused, and always looking to improve, whether that’s creating cinematic highlight videos, dynamic action photography, or polished social media content. My goal is to create impactful visuals that connect with audiences and elevate the story of the teams, athletes, and brands I work with.
